Under the listings sits an article shelf, and it is mostly cautionary — account takeovers, no-shows and creeps, why not to get too personal, and one that the site says explains identifying fake escort posts and avoiding scams.

The most-read shelf repeats that same guide and adds a glossary of the abbreviations used in the adverts, which is a fair signal of who the page expects: somebody who cannot yet read them.
