The premise is an audition, aimed at two audiences at once. The site says as much about itself: aspiring performers on one side, fans of unscripted material on the other. Become A Star sits in the main navigation as a recruitment route, the headings ask whether you have what it takes and whether these amateurs can perform like professionals, and the top shelf is a ranked ten of tryouts. Recruitment is not a sideline here, it is the format.

The cast tells a slightly different story. Read the pairings on the front page and the same handful of names comes round again and again — one performer appears in four separate scenes, several others in two — so what is presented as a stream of new arrivals is being shot with a small recurring group. Featured Stars is a shelf of six, and every name in it also appears in the scene list underneath. That is a workable production model, but it is not quite the one the copy describes.

The commercial side is conventional and complete: two named processors plus a third-party paysite platform, a members' area, a newsletter offering exclusive news and offers, an affiliates page and a content-removal route. Membership benefits run to the usual three lines — members-only material, HD video, premium photos — with no count, no schedule and no figure. If the audition framing appeals then that is what you are buying, because the front page hands over the roster and keeps the arithmetic.
