The self-description manages both the boast and the retraction in four sentences. This is "a global database of all pornstars and babes who have ever been filmed for online adult industry", and then, two lines later, what you will actually find is material on "a fair amount of babes". Somebody wrote the ambition, then had second thoughts and left both versions in.

The honesty is worth something, because the structure behind it is a real one. A-Z Categories, Pornstar Lists, Babes, Galleries, Videos — this is built as a reference work, where the person is the record and the clips and picture sets are evidence attached to it, rather than a tube with names bolted on afterwards.

The Featured Pornstars rail complicates the branding, though. Chad White, Jordi El Nino Polla and Sam Shock appear in it alongside Nina Hartley, Angela White and Gina Gerson. A site called DefineBabe indexes the men too, and nothing in the interface marks the difference.

One menu entry still reads ${cat.name} — a variable the template never filled, sitting where a category should be.

The only price quoted anywhere belongs to somebody else: $5/month, for a different service, advertised inside the menu.
