Pornhub is the site most people mean when they say "a porn tube." It's free, it's enormous, and it works the way search-and-browse video sites have worked for years: a search bar, a category list, sorting by recent and popular, and endless related suggestions down the side.

You don't need an account to watch. Signing up is free and adds the usual personal layer — history, playlists, subscriptions to channels and performers — but nothing stops you watching without it.

One structural thing worth knowing is that the site splits its catalogue by orientation at the top level, with separate Straight, Gay and Trans sections and a Sapphic section still marked as beta. That's a navigational choice rather than a filter buried in settings, and it makes the site considerably less frustrating to browse if the default section isn't what you're after.

Quality ranges from full studio production to compressed phone footage, and the sorting tools are how you tell the difference before clicking. The site's search and filtering are strong enough that this is manageable, but you are doing the filtering yourself.

If you've never used a tube site before, this is the obvious starting point purely because everything else is built on the same pattern. If you're already familiar with the format, there's nothing here that will surprise you — which is arguably the point.
