The front page is a parade of borrowed characters — Kim Possible, Splatoon's inklings, Helluva Boss's Loona, Steven Universe's Pearl — which places Mult34 precisely: this is Rule 34, fan-made porn of existing cartoon characters, not original erotica.

It collects porn comics, cartoon-porn images, hentai manga and short animations, free, sorted by category and by the characters and franchises being parodied, with a comment thread under each post. The organising principle is the source IP as much as the act.

The parody basis is what defines and complicates it. Rule 34 is fan labour built on characters someone else owns, so the whole catalogue exists in the space between fan art and infringement, and its appeal is specifically recognition — these are known characters, which is the entire point and the entire legal problem.

Free, community-commented, updated regularly. As a Rule 34 archive it is broad and current; what it trades in is other people's characters, which is the thing that makes the genre what it is.
