Before the question of value comes the question of access, and for a lot of people reading this in the United States that question now has an unhelpful answer. What the paid tier actually gets you
Strip the marketing and the upgrade is four things: advertising removed, downloads enabled, full-length studio scenes that the free tier only carries as clips, and the higher-resolution VR catalogue.
The advertising point is the most honest one on the list, and it is worth more than it sounds. Free adult tubes are among the more aggressive ad environments on the consumer web, and paying to leave that is a real product even if it is an unglamorous one.
Downloads matter more than they used to, for a reason nobody advertises. When a platform can remove several million videos in a week, or withdraw from your state on a policy decision, the distinction between streaming access and a file you hold stops being a convenience question. Anything you actually care about, keep locally.

Do not reuse the old partner list
The version of this article that stood here recommended the upgrade partly on the strength of a studio list. One name on that list later became the subject of federal sex-trafficking convictions, and the material was removed from the platform. Reported pricing sits in the region of thirteen dollars a month, with quarterly and annual rates lowering the effective monthly figure and promotions running constantly. Treat that as approximate — it varies by region and it moves, and this figure comes from secondary listings rather than from the site.
At that price the meaningful comparison is not against the free tier. It is against a single studio subscription in the genre you actually watch, which typically costs somewhat more and delivers a much smaller, much more consistent, fully credited library shot to one house standard. Premium is broad and shallow by design; a studio is narrow and deep.
Which is right depends on something only you can answer: whether you browse or whether you follow. If your watching is exploratory and you move between genres constantly, breadth wins and the aggregator is the efficient purchase. If you return to the same three studios, you are paying an intermediary for access to work you could buy at source, with better encodes and no risk of the arrangement lapsing.
