Count the owners rather than the sites and this list falls apart. The ten destinations routinely offered as replacements for Blacked resolve to four corporate groups and one product that belongs to a different industry altogether. As an exercise in getting away from a studio, that is close to the opposite of what it looks like.
Who actually owns what
Blacked itself launched in 2014 as the first brand out of Vixen Media Group, the company Greg Lansky founded and then sold his stake in at the start of 2020. The group's other properties — Vixen, Tushy, Deeper, Slayed and the rest — share a production style with it because they are made by the same operation. That is worth knowing before you leave: the thing people usually mean when they say they like or dislike Blacked is a house aesthetic, and it is set at group level.
Four of the ten belong to Aylo, the company renamed from MindGeek in August 2023 after Ethical Capital Partners bought it earlier that year. Brazzers, Reality Kings and I Know That Girl — the last being a Mofos series rather than a standalone studio — sit under it, as does SpiceVids, through Spice Networks. Those are not four alternatives to each other. They are four doors into one company's catalogue.
Two belong to Paper Street Media: TeamSkeet and MYLF, which are marketed as separate networks and share an owner.
Two more belong to Gamma Entertainment, itself reported as acquired by Byborg: Adult Time and Pure Taboo. Pure Taboo's material is part of what an Adult Time subscription reaches, so treating them as consecutive entries on a ranking is double-counting one purchase.
BangBros is the only genuinely separate studio operation in the group, reported as part of WGCZ Holding — the same house as XVideos, XNXX and Private, which is a tube-and-studio combination rather than a studio network.
Corporate ownership in this industry moves constantly, and everything above is stated as reported rather than as permanent fact. But the shape of it is stable enough to act on: a ten-item list covering four owners is offering less variety than the count suggests.
The one that is not a paysite
GirlfriendGPT does not belong on this list at all. It is an AI chat product — character-based roleplay with generated images and voice — and it has no video catalogue, no performers and no studio. Whatever its merits, it cannot be an alternative to a production company, and its presence here is a category error rather than a recommendation. If generated companionship is what you want, that is a different search with different questions, starting with what the service does with your conversation logs.
What the membership actually reaches
Ownership explains why the list is narrower than it looks. The more practical question is what any of these subscriptions gets you, and here the directory entries are unusually consistent about where the friction sits.
The advertised network size is the number to distrust first. BangBros promotes access to a large group of sites, and a number of those carry an additional charge on top of the membership. Reality Kings caps downloads per day and reserves full HD for newer scenes, so an old catalogue counted in the marketing is not the same as an old catalogue you can use. MYLF's entry records upsells and locked sections inside a paid account, and charges separately for downloads. I Know That Girl does the same on downloads.
TeamSkeet has a different problem: almost nothing is visible before you join, so the decision has to be made on the strength of the sales page rather than the catalogue. SpiceVids offers a free trial that requires card details up front and keeps some material locked behind further payment.
None of that makes any of them a bad purchase. It does mean the honest comparison is not which network is biggest but which of these actually includes the thing you are joining for, without a second transaction. That question is answerable from each site's own join page in about a minute, and it discriminates between them far better than a ranking does.
So what is a real alternative
It depends entirely on what you are leaving, and the two common answers point in opposite directions.
If you are leaving on price, ownership is your lever. Consolidating onto one group's membership — an Adult Time-style catalogue subscription, or a single network pass — costs less than three studio subscriptions because you are buying once from one company. Bundling is the whole business model, and it works in your favour when you use it deliberately.
If you are leaving because you want a different look — different direction, different production values, different performers — ownership is the constraint, and it is the reason most of the list fails. Moving between sites inside Aylo, or between TeamSkeet and MYLF, changes the branding around material commissioned by the same people to the same standards. The genuine change of scenery is a change of owner, and by that measure this list contains roughly four options, not ten.
The premium interracial category is where Blacked itself is filed, and the wider premium listing has the rest. Read them with the ownership map in hand; it makes a long list considerably shorter and considerably more useful.
