OnScreens Review

This is not an archive. It is a competing cam site assembled entirely from other cam sites' output.

OnScreens republishes recorded broadcasts from several major live platforms — it names them on its own front page — and then builds the full apparatus of a destination on top: a models index, categories, playlists, favourites, a feed, and a trending-performers ranking. A visitor browses performers, follows them, and works through their catalogue exactly as they would on the platform the material was taken from.

That reconstruction is what separates it from a dump of files. A recording archive is a pile; this is a product, and the performers powering it are being ranked, promoted and used to attract an audience on a service they never joined.

The economics run one way. On the originating platforms, viewing generates tips and private-show revenue that reaches the performer. Here the same performances generate traffic for someone else, and a broadcaster who leaves a platform or changes handle cannot withdraw any of it, because none of it is on the platform she left.

Every file exists because somebody in a live room was recording it.
