The sort menu has seven axes on it: recent, popular, rated, discussed, downloaded, longest and watched. Downloaded and watched are counted separately, and discussed is offered as a ranking of its own. That is a site built for people who keep things and argue about them, not for people who scroll — and it is a fair description of how this corner of the internet actually behaves. Pagination running past eleven thousand pages says the archive behind those sorts is real.

The browsing structure is producer-led. The label menu names Japanese studios and imprints directly — Moodyz, SOD, Madonna, Giga, Kawaii, Center Village and a dozen more — so material is found by who made it rather than by what happens in it. Uncensored material gets its own top-level shelf.

What is not addressed anywhere is how a free site comes to be carrying named commercial studio output; no page takes the question up. Alongside the studio labels the footer carries a run of outbound links to other sites, and one heading on the front page is simply another site's domain name — the usual sign that some of the page is rented rather than editorial.
