BDSM Library is a written-fiction archive covering bondage, femdom and related material, with a story list, forums, blogs and a chat layer around it. The structure is a community's rather than a publisher's — the fiction and the discussion have grown together over a long period.

We could not read past the status notice to establish the current state of the library, how much is accessible, or whether new work is still being posted. A status notice on the front page is exactly the circumstance in which those answers are most likely to have changed recently.

Written BDSM fiction is a substantial tradition with archives that predate most of the web, and where they survive they hold material that exists nowhere else.
