A TG caption is an image with text laid over it narrating a gender transformation — a small, specific form with its own following, and this is a library of them.

OpenTGC presents itself as the continuation of OpenTGCaptions, and it runs as a user-made archive rather than an edited one: readers browse and filter by tag, registered members create the captions, and the whole thing is free. A content warning gates the front door.

The user-generated model is the defining fact. Nothing here is produced by the site; it is a platform for a hobbyist community, so subject matter and quality vary with whoever is uploading, and the tag system is how you navigate that instead of a curator.

Two signals suggest it is alive: an announcements block carrying recent hotfix and bug-fix notes, and a changelog in the footer. Rules, a DMCA route and terms are published.

For a community archive the useful test is activity rather than size, and that changelog answers it before you bother registering.
