English-language doujinshi archives exist because fan groups scan, clean, typeset and re-letter Japanese self-published comics for nothing, and the credit convention survives in the titles — circle and artist in brackets, then the original Japanese name beside the English one. Read that as the acknowledgement it is: two sets of uncredited labour, the artist's and the translator's, and the site charging for neither.
Scale is considerable, with a claim of more than a hundred thousand titles and a listing index running past two thousand pages. Access needs no account at all, which is unusual and stated as a selling point.
The reading tools are better than the format usually gets: bookmarks, a personal blacklist that hides tags you never want to see, indexes by character and by parody source, and a tier list ranking titles.
Community happens on Discord rather than on the site. The takedown route is a DMCA link in the footer — the only acknowledgement anywhere that the original artists might have a view about any of this.
